The stairs at Monte Sano. Aways back on Monte Sano a bit south off the beaten path, down aways by the old chestnut “ghost,” there’s a rock stairway from nowhere to nowhere, just there. I climbed it a few times way back when and found “Life” and scratched it out on my hiking notebook. And now it’s yours. Have a good life.
