So there
Then and there
I left my bike,
And took a hike.
I looked back and my bike,
‘Meandering along upright
Had followed behind.
I’m one with my bike.
My bike I do like.
I have bike,
Biking on my mind!
As along I rode
A riverside ride
The gravel seemed
To talk,
“Crunch crunch”
It said
“You’re free
You’re free,”
I heard,
My ride,
My ride spoke to me
My ride,
My ride by the stream.
Grinding gravel
On my gravel grinder
Like coursers
We flew
Gray gravel beneath,
Above azure blue,
Riding, riding
Round road’s bend
My Spirit renewed
I thought, dreamed,
Wher’st will’st -
Where will my
Trail
END?
