Author’s Note: Inspiration to poem to song. My beautiful sweet granddaughter Lauren and I were texting one June afternoon. She sent a short video of me doing the Memphis Shuffle along with a ❤️ and “stick around Papa!” I answered her in Mountain Haiku. Here it is read with a jazz beat. It’s now a song🎶
