On the way to Perdition

Something hit me squaren’ the face

I found myself renewed . . . . . Saved

From frozen Hell!

The Blue Ridge Parkway frozen in surreal whiteness offered two bikers untoward beauty as we gingerly picked our way thru icy tunnels and crystal crashy ice falls to Craggy

The ranger warned “careful of black ice in the tunnels,” on our way up to Perdition, and careful decente’ back down. It was a White Ridge journey to remember.
