my dear darkened silhouette
my fav companion
on the dark side
how you move so gracefully
silently
effortlessly
bending
stooping
reaching
never changing
never complaining
keeping up to my every mood
Just barely joined with me and my shadow
(which I enjoy dissing noons)
but not you
you never complain
always on my backside
like glue
though at times I do light you up
teasingly
as I go about my day
at night
we three become you
making my business yours
reaching out to touch you
Impossibly
so’s I know you’re still
