OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Updated: May 8, 2023

Oh Christmas Tree!

Oh Christmas Tree?

What toys and joys you hide,

Discovered.

Old Christmas Tree,

An old man’s memory;

Oh, Christmas Tree,

What Joy your Shadow tells;

The light brite, dazzling glitter;

I fritter,

I Fritter away countless hours,

Mesmerized by your twinkling;

Wondering,

What Christmas will bring?

What gathering?

What Joy?

What Toy?

What Love?

What Child from above.

Love this. The words dance. Magical. Best of all, the Child has come.

Thanks! How many times have I layed there on the couch staring and dreaming of the magic of Christmas. That’s exactly where this poem began🎁🎄🙏🏻
